Pavel Syrchin
Pavel Leonidovich Syrchin (Russian: Павел Леонидович Сырчин; born 7 November 1957) is a retired Russian heavyweight weightlifter. In 1979 he won the Soviet and world titles and placed second at the European championships.[3]

Syrchin is a honored citizen of Krasnokamsk, where he works as a weightlifting coach.[2][4] His son Pavel Jr. also became a competitive weightlifter.[1]
