Paul Jerricho

Paul Jerricho (born 18 November 1948) is a British actor.

Career

Jerricho attended Oswestry School in Shropshire. He trained at the Drama Centre London. He made his West End theatre debut in The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, starring Leonard Rossiter. Other theatre work includes The Biko Inquest at the Riverside Studios with Albert Finney; Manningham in Gaslight at Salisbury Playhouse; Dionysus in The Bacchae at Bristol Old Vic; Banquo in Macbeth and Hortensio in The Taming of the Shrew. Jerricho has also directed theatre productions, including The Long and the Short and the Tall at the Albery Theatre. He is an associate member of the British Actors' Theatre Company.

He has made numerous television appearances. His best-known roles include Robert Hastings during the final series of Howards' Way, violent P.E. teacher Mr. Hicks in Grange Hill and the Castellan in two Doctor Who stories, Arc of Infinity and The Five Doctors. Jerricho was also a regular in all three series of Triangle as Charles Woodhouse.

Other TV appearances include: Space: 1999, Secret Army, Enemy at the Door, The Bill, Doctors, Footballers' Wives, Holby City, Look Around You and EastEnders.

Personal life

Jerricho is divorced with two daughters, he has one son named Jack and is in a relationship with former Casualty actress Helena Little. He supports Coventry City F.C.. Hobbies include rugby and cricket. He lives in Wimbledon.[1]
