Paul Harvey's The Rest of the Story

Paul Harvey's The Rest of the Story is a book written by Paul Harvey, Jr. (billed under his birth name, "Paul Aurandt") that chronicles 82 stories[1] that Paul Harvey told on his regular radio show of the same name. Sample stories include: the birth of Coca-Cola, the insanity of Patrick Henry's wife, and how Franklin Pierce apparently accidentally ran over a woman.

Harvey's stories are noted for the manner in which they tell a simple story and make it appear more complex. Also, Harvey does not cite any sources, and the reader is presumed to follow.

The radio series on which the book was based, also named The Rest of the Story, was produced from 1976 until 2009, when Paul Harvey died.
