Paul Bassett is an Australian barista who won the World Barista Championship in 2003.[1][2]

Bassett Espresso is a brand name of packed ground coffee.
Coffeehouse chains named after Bassett are being operated in Japan and South Korea. The Japanese stores, operated by Y's Table, first opened in 2006, and the South Korean chain, currently operated by M's Seed (a subsidiary of Maeil Dairies), began in 2009.
