Patrick Ballantyne
Although most frequently associated with co-writing with the likes of Gordie Johnson [19] and Big Sugar,[20] The Trews,[21] and Tim Chaisson,[22] Patrick released his debut solo album in 2008.[23] It garnered the attention of music industry icon Ron Harwood, who placed it in top 5 independent releases of the year.[24]
Days of Rain
Released in June 2014.[25] The release show was held at Musideum in Toronto.[26] The album differs from the first album in that it has more instrumentation (piano and string) than the first release[27]
- The title track "King of the Road" was co-written with Meredith Shaw and Gordie Johnson. The song originally appeared in a different incarnation on Meredith Shaw's EP "Place Called Happy".[28]
- The lyric video for "Wrestling with the Devil" was featured by Snob's Music as a Friday Find [29] and as a Mute Music Moment of the Day [30]
