The length of the forewings is 4-4.6 mm. The forewings are tan with black-tipped scales basally between the veins and at the margins, as four tufts along the dorsal margin, and inward at each tuft, as well as three spots mid-wing, at the end of the cell, on the distal one-fourth and subapically. There are brown scales between black-tipped scales from mid-wing to the apex. The hindwings are grey fuscous.

The larvae feed on Psittacanthus calyculatus. They bore in the fruits of their host plant.[2]
