Pariah Press

Pariah Press was the company, funded by Mike Nystul, that published the first commercial edition of The Whispering Vault role-playing game.

History

Mike Nystul self-published a limited edition of a new horror RPG called The Whispering Vault (1993) at GenCon 26. By the next year, he was ready to release an expanded and more professional version into distribution and thus Pariah Press was born.[1]:369 In 2003, Ronin Arts purchased The Whispering Vault and started producing new Whispering Vault material almost immediately.[1]:374
