Parban River

Parban River originates in Madhya Pradesh and flows through Rajasthan. It is tributary of Kali Sindh. Parban/Parvan originates in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. Parban flows through Sehore, Shajapur and Rajgarh districts in Madhya Pradesh . It covers Jhalawar, Kota, Baran districts of Rajasthan. It meets Kali Sindh in Baran district of Rajasthan.
Since 2017 Parban Dam Project is developing on Parban river. The area of Baran district and Jhalawar district will be affected by the dam.

Confluence (संगम)

Parvan River confluences with Kalikhaad River in Manohar Thana, With Nevaj in Chachorni Jhalawar And finally Merges with Kaalisindh River in Baran District near Village Palaita.

Accidents

In rainy season the river gets flooded. In remote locations of many areas of Baran and Jhalawar people often died while crossing the river by boats.[1]
