Parascorpaena is a genus of scorpionfishes native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean.

There are currently six recognized species in this genus:[1]

- Parascorpaena maculipinnis J. L. B. Smith, 1957
- Parascorpaena mcadamsi (Fowler, 1938) (McAdam's scorpionfish)
