Padiay, Sibagat

Padiay is a Barangay in the Municipality of Sibagat, a 1st Class Municipality in the province of Agusan del Sur, Caraga Region, Mindanao Islands, Philippines. The barangay is located at the northeastern tip of the town of Sibagat, and the northeastern portion of the province.[1] Its population as determined by the 2015 Census was 1,627. This represented 5.34% of the total population of Sibagat.[2]

The population of Padiay fell from 2,052 in 1990 to 1,627 in 2015, a decrease of 425 people. The latest census figures in 2015 denote a positive growth rate of 0.64%, or an increase of 54 people, from the previous population of 1,573 in 2010.[4]
