PU scope
The PU scope (ПУ, прицел укороченный, 'Scope short-cut' in comparison to PE/PEM telescopic sight) is a telescopic sight of Soviet manufacture, widely used on the Mosin–Nagant and SVT-40. The sight has a fixed at 3.5 power magnification. The reticle could be adjusted vertically for range, from 0 to 1300 meters. Horizontal adjustments for windage were also provided.
It is claimed that the Soviets attempted to create a 6x version of the scope though this has been refuted. An aftermarket objective lens known as the PU Magnifier (PUM) is able to give the PU scope a 6.5x power.

gollark: Although I don't think most boards include separate SATA controllers, so that is quite odd.
gollark: The port running directly off the CPU or chipset, presumably.
gollark: Maybe the port has some electrical failure. Maybe the controller's hardware for that port specifically is broken.
gollark: You don't need SQL. Just write to a file.
gollark: This is indeed possible.
