Release

The series was launched on November 22, 2019 on Hotstar.[12]

Promotion

The first trailer of the series was released by Hotstar on November 1, 2019 across multiple platforms.[13]

Reception

The series garnered largely positive reviews.

Ruchi Kaushal of Hindustan Times praised the way the series adapted to the Indian setting despite being a remake and called it one of Dugal's best works till date with strong writing and backed by Tigamanshu Dhulia's direction.[14]

On the other hand, the series was also described as a banal take on infidelity by some others.[15]

gollark: 13x13 has the advantage of being exactly the size of compact machines, you know.
gollark: If you think your base is messy, though, you should see my basement, although you should not see it because it is classified.
gollark: When playing modded, you either build a horrible messy base which works nicely, and intend to build a nice new base "later" but never do properly, or you burn out trying to make your regular base really nice.
gollark: Me too.
gollark: GTech™ witty joke™.
