Analysis
The lyrics for Oui Oui, Marie center on a man named Johnny who falls in love with a French girl named Marie. He flirts with her even though he doesn't know how to speak French.[3] The chorus is:
- "Oui oui, Marie, will you do zis for me?
- Oui oui, Marie, then I'll do zat for you.
- I love your eyes,
- They make me feel so spoony;
- You'll drive me loony,
- You're teasing me,
- Why can't we parley-vous
- Like other sweethearts do?
- I want a kiss or two
- From ma Cherie.
- Oui oui, Marie,
- If you'll do zis for me,
- Then I'll do zat for you,
- Oui Oui Marie."[3]
gollark: Wait for what? Are you doing things?
gollark: It utterly subsumes your existing process or something, unless it errors.
gollark: It doesn't *seem* to.
gollark: Does libc have anything useful then?
gollark: Did NOBODY think it would be useful to have a convenient way to do this?
