Osler's sign

Osler's sign refers to one of the medical signs named in honor of the famous Professor William Osler, Professor of Medicine at McGill University and Johns Hopkins University.

• Pretibial myxedema seen in Graves' disease is also known as Osler's sign.[1]
• The term "Osler's sign" can also refer to nodes associated with acute bacterial endocarditis.[2][3] The term Osler's node is sometimes used in this context.
