Career
JJK
He made his debut for JJK on 15 June 2017 in their Veikkausliiga 4–0 loss to HJK Helsinki.[2] He went on loan to Dutch side Groningen in July 2017 with an option to buy.[3]
On loan to FC Groningen
In the summer of 2017, Sallinen was loaned out to Groningen. Sallinen would be playing for the club's U17 squad, but would also be training with the U19 squad. The contract was a 1-year loan deal with the option to buy.[4]
