Orest Kuzyk

Orest Kuzyk (Ukrainian: Орест Тарасович Кузик; born 17 May 1995 in Lviv, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian football winger who plays for PAS Giannina.[1]

Career

Kuzyk is a product of the FC Karpaty Lviv and FC Dynamo youth sportive schools. His first trainers were Mykola Dudarenko (in FC Karpaty) and Oleksiy Drotsenko and Yuriy Len (in FC Dynamo).[2]

FC Hoverla Uzhhorod

He spent his career in the Ukrainian Premier League Reserves and in July 2015 went on loan to Hoverla Uzhhorod in the Ukrainian Premier League. Kuzyk made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League for FC Hoverla Uzhhorod in a match against FC Vorskla Poltava, entraining in the second half-time on 25 July 2015.[3]

FC Stal Kamianske

In 2016–2018 Kuzyk joined Stal Kamianske, and he made 37 caps and eight goals.

PAS Giannina F.C.

On 8 June 2018, PAS Giannina the main team of Ioannina, officially announced the signing of 23-year-old Ukrainian winger Orest Kuzyk, who was recently released from FC Stal Kamianske. Kuzyk signed three-season contract with experienced manager Giannis Petrakis' team.[4] Kuzyk was often left out of the squad during the first half of the Super League season. He made seven appearances across all competitions without scoring.

SC Dnipro-1 (loan)

On 14 January 2018, he was loaned out to SC Dnipro-1.[1] He made 11 appearances and scored four goals in the 2018–19 Ukrainian First League, contributed to promote the team into Ukrainian Premier League. He won the ward as best player in March 2019.[5]

FC Desna Chernihiv (loan)

On 14 July 2019, he was loaned again to Desna Chernihiv for one year until the july 2020.[6][7]. With the club of Chernihiv, he started playing more regularly comparing with the last two years and he played 21 matches scoring 1 goal.[8]He made his contribution for the Quaterfinal of the Ukrainian Cup in the season 2019-20 and for the Qualification for the Play-Off of the Championship round table of the Premier League in the season 2019–20 and with the club was promoted for the Europa League third qualifying round.[9]. In summer 2020 few clubs from Ukrainian Premier League and Cypriot First Division showed interest in Desna's player on loan from PAS Giannina.[10][11][12][13][14]

International career

In 2015 he joined in the Ukraine-20 and made two appearances. In 2016 in Ukraine-21, he made five appearances and scored one goal.
