Early life

Koch is the daughter of Alfred Koch, who was head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management in 1996–97 and oversaw some of Russia's controversial privatization scheme, including the Voucher privatization that is blamed for creating the Russian oligarchs. In 1997, he was briefly Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.[3]

When Olga was 13, her family moved to the UK, settling in Surrey, where she was educated at the American School in England.[4] She studied computer programming at New York University.[5][6][7] Koch also trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.[8]

Career

Koch's first show was in 2016, entitled Me, Me, Me. This was followed by Data Night and Good Vibes in 2017.[4]

In 2018, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut hour, Fight.[3]

She has appeared on The Now Show, Mock the Week and Pls Like and has written for Newsjack and BBC Three's A Quickie in the Office.[9][10]
