Oha Suta

Oha Suta (おはスタ, Oha Suta) is a children's TV show which airs in Japan in the morning on Monday to Friday, and it is produced by TV Tokyo. It premiered in 1997. This show is a remake of "Ohayō Studio" ("Ohayō" meaning "Good Morning"), a similar show that also aired on TV Tokyo from 1979 (back when the network was called "Tokyo 12 Channel") to 1986 (by which time the network renamed to "TV Tokyo"). For this reason, "suta" comes "sutajio", a "Japanicization" of the English word "studio", thus the name "Oha Suta". The show's full title is "Oha Suta: The Super Kids Station".

Oha Girls

Girls who are 12–15 years old appear in the program, and are called Oha Girls (おはガール). Some of them had their professional debut on the show. As of April 2019, OhaGirl from Girls2 joined the cast, with a different girl appearing from Monday to Tuesday. They also provide a new theme songs for each school semester. This year their costume theme is "sports".[1] Starting from April 2020, an additional of four more members from Girls2 were added to the Oha Girl cast, making them a 9 member unit.[2][3] This is the first time in OhaSuta history where there are 9 Oha Girls.
