Odi Bouwmans

Odilius Petrus Maria “Odi” Bouwmans (13 February 1944 – 8 July 2020) was a Dutch politician. He was a member of the CDA party and mayor of Bakel en Milheeze and Helvoirt.[1]

Bouwmans was born in Deurne. He was alderman and deputy mayor in Bakel en Milheeze until 1989. Than he became mayor of Helvoirt.[2] After more than three years he became mayor of Boxmeer in 1993. In March 2003, Bouwmans retired.[3] Bouwmans was awarded as knight of the Orde van Oranje Nassau in 2003.[2]

Bouwmans died in Boxmeer on 8 July 2020, aged 76.[1][2]
