Obinna Iyiegbu

Obinna Iyiegbu (born April 12, 1975)[1], is a Nigerian philanthropist, hospitality guru and the founder of Cubana group.[2][3][4][5][6] and also the co founder of Kiek Foundation.[7]

Early life and education

Obinna, hails from Oba, Idemili South local government area in Anambra State, located in Southeast Nigeria. He is a political science graduate from the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He also attended Central primary school Oba and Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha. He married Ebele Iyiegbu in 2008 and with kids.

Philanthropy

Obi has imparted many lives.[8] In collaboration with his wife Ebele,[9] using the Kiek foundation[10] as a point of contact, they have provided free help to children in the area of education, diet nutrition, quality health care and child advocacy.[11][12] In 2018 Obinna helped co-found Kiek Foundation a non- governmental organization established with the aim of improving the lives of the less privileged children in the society through quality education, healthcare, nutrition and child's right governance.[13] It was an initiative of his wife.[14] during the covid 19 pandemic he plead the Nigerian government to review it strategy in handling the lockdown Nigeria[15]
