History
The club was founded in the 1930s.[2] It is unlike a casino in that it has no slot machines, all card games, and players bet against one another, not the house. In 2015 the card club racked up US$650,000 fine for Bank Secrecy Act violations. The club's record jackpot also came in that year, $200,000 worth.[3] In 2016 its employees earned $14 an hour.[4]
