Northland Preparatory Academy

Northland Preparatory Academy is a public charter high school and middle school in Flagstaff, Arizona. It aims to provide a college preparatory environment and alternative to public high schools in the area. The courses include various regular, AP, and honors classes, which include World History, American history, Geography, Mathematics, English, Psychology, and various sciences.

6th grade:

7th grade:
Courses include General Science, English, World Geography, Math (most either take Algebra I or Pre-Algebra. On rare occasions, students may gain entry into Geometry), Latin I, a mandatory study hall, and one elective of their choice.

8th grade:
Courses include 8th grade physical science, English 8 or Honors English 8, Pre-AP American history or American History, Math (depends on which level of math they are at), PE, and two electives of their choice of which include but are not limited to: Latin II, Choir, Stings, Art, Drama, and Guitar.

9th grade:
Courses include Physics 9 or Accelerated Physics 9, American Literature or Honors American Lit, World History 9 or AP World Civilizations 9, Math, a choice of either Spanish I or French I (special cases may allow the student to skip a year and move to Spanish/French II, III, or IV), and two electives of their choice which include but are not limited to Choir, AutoCAD, Yearbook, Strings, Health/PE, Drama, and study hall.
