North West Wales

North West Wales (Welsh: Gogledd-Orllewin Cymru) is a region of Wales corresponding to Conwy County Borough (Welsh: Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy) and the counties of Gwynedd and the Isle of Anglesey (Welsh: Ynys Môn).

Usage and definition

The term North West Wales is used by the Welsh Government in the Wales Spatial Plan[1] and the BBC.[2]
