Noel Gevor
Norair Mikaelian (born 18 September 1990), better known as Noel Gevor, is an Armenian-German professional boxer. He held the WBO Youth world and WBO International cruiserweight title in 2014 and 2016.He is the step-son of former European middleweight champion Khoren Gevor. He participated in the World Boxing Super Series but lost via a very controversial decision against favorite Mairis Briedis.ESPNboxing expert Dan Rafael, the commentators live on DAZN scored the fight at least 115 to 111 in favor of Noel Mikaelian. The matchup between Briedis and Mikaelian for the WBC world Diamond title remained to be one of the most scandalous decisions in 2018.As of January 2020 Noel is ranked as the current nr 4 by the WBC and inside the top ten best active Cruiserweights in the world by both the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and by BoxRec.
