Nitti (producer)

Chadron Moore, better known by his stage name Nitti Beatz, is an American record producer who has been active since 2000 and who was signed to So So Def Records from 2005 to 2008.

Early life

Nitti was raised by his mother in Decatur, Georgia.

Music career

He began doing production for local rap acts in Atlanta, Georgia, producing seven songs on 8Ball's second album Almost Famous including the hit "Stop Playin' Games." approached Nitti with a production deal. He did production work on many projects released through Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label. In 2007, Nitti secured a production deal with Warner Bros. Records.

Production signatures

Nitti's production signature is either a child or Nitti himself declaring "this a Nitti beat" before more monologue before the song lyrics start. Nitti's sound is primarily sample-free, relying heavily on synthesized sounds. He has worked primarily with southern hip hop artists throughout his career and is credited with helping popularize "snap music" production with Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down".[1] In 2010, Nitti produced the single "Bring It Back" for the rap duo 8Ball & MJG.
