Nikolai Demchenko

Nikolai Demchenko (21 May 1896 – 30 October 1937) was a Ukrainian communist Soviet politician.[1] He was born in Kharkov Governorate. He received the Order of Lenin on 20 December 1935.[2] During the Great Purge, he was arrested on 22 July 1937, sentenced to death by the Military Collegium of the Supreme Court of the USSR on 29 October 1937 and executed by firing squad the next day. After the death of Joseph Stalin, he was rehabilitated.[3]
