Nick Jr. Africa

Nick Jr. is a South African pay television channel owned by ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA. Multichoice's DStv broadcasts programs on the channel as well as streaming them on DStv Now and Showmax. The channel was launched on 30 September 2014 (alongside sister channel Nicktoons) on Channel 307.

History


Before all original programming was broadcast on Nickelodeon. After children's channel Koowee was discontinued it was then launched as a Channel. A Nick Jr. block was acquired by Nicktoons in 2017 where Nick Jr. provides some of its original content to the channel.[1]
