Niamh Algar
Niamh Algar is an Irish actress. From Mullingar, the youngest of five children, she is a graduate from The Programme of Screen Acting at The Factory, Bow Street in Dublin.[1][2] She has lived in London since 2016.
She has appeared in Conor McMahon's From the Dark, Aoife Crehan's road trip movie The Last Right, Lorcan Finnegan's Without Name, Rose Cartwright's Pure,[3] the Michael Fassbender-produced Calm With Horses from first-time feature director Nick Rowland,[4][5] and Desiree Akhavan's The Bisexual.[6]
She was named amongst the 2019 BAFTAs Breakthrough Brits (that is, as one of the actors selected by Bafta as rising stars of the British film industry).[7] [8]
She played Dinah in Shane Meadows' The Virtues.[4][9]
She has also appeared in MotherFatherSon, and Ridley Scott's Raised by Wolves.[10]
