New College Ground
New College Ground is a cricket ground in Oxford, Oxfordshire that belongs to New College, one of the Oxford University colleges. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1896, when Oxfordshire played their first Minor Counties Championship match at the ground against Wiltshire. From 1896 to 1901, Oxfordshire played 9 Minor Counties Championship matches at the ground. In 1939, Oxfordshire played 2 further Minor Counties Championship matches, the last of which came against Berkshire.[1]

The ground has also held 2 first-class matches. The first first-class match held on the ground came in 1907 and saw Oxford University play Yorkshire. The second came the following year and saw the University play the touring South Africans.[2]
