Nevada State Museum, Carson City
The Nevada State Museum in Carson City[1] is one of seven Nevada State Museums operated by the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. The primary building of the Museum is the former Carson City Mint. The exhibits include:
- The world's largest exhibited Columbian Mammoth,[2] found in the Black Rock Desert
- The silver service from the USS Nevada[3]
- The Spirit Cave mummy, North America's oldest mummy[4]
