Nepetalactol
Nepetalactol is an iridoid. It is produced from 8-oxogeranial by the enzyme iridoid synthase.[1] Nepetalactol is a substrate for the enzyme iridoid oxidase (IO) which produces 7-deoxyloganetic acid.
