Neerbeek
Neerbeek is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Beek. The village has a population of around 2400 people.[1]

Facilities
The Prins Mauritslaan - Rijksweg-Zuid is the main connection between Geleen and Neerbeek. Due to its geographical location, Neerbeek makes more use of the facilities at Geleen than those at Beek.
There are several cafes and restaurants located in Neerbeek. Furthermore, there is a primary school.
In 1957, a handball club was founded in Neerbeek, called Blauw-Wit. The club had a rich history, it won three times the national championship, twice the national cup and once the Super Cup. In 1998, Blauw-Wit merged with HV Caesar from Beek to become Beekse Fusie Club.[2]
There also is an amateur football club called RKVV Neerbeek, which was founded in 1978.
