Nedeljko Čubrilović

Nedeljko Čubrilović (born 5 April 1953) is a Bosnian Serb politician who is the 7th and current Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.[1]

Born in Krupa na Vrbasu, he has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Banja Luka.

Prior to becoming Speaker, Čubrilović served as the 6th Minister of Transport and Communication of Republika Srpska from 28 February 2006 until 24 November 2014.

In 2000, he joined the Democratic People's Alliance (DNS). The DNS presidency dismissed Čubrilović as its vice president on 14 November 2018.[2] Shortly after, he was elected as the 1st president of the newly established DEMOS on 22 December 2018 in Banja Luka.[3]

Personal life

Nedeljko is married to Miloja Čubrilović and together they have a son named Đuro and a daughter named Mirjana.[4] He lives and works in Banja Luka.[4]
