Ne injustice vexes

Ne injuste Vexes refers to a prohibitory writ in the Old English law. It was issued in pursuance of the provisions of Magna Charta and was used to prohibit a landlord from demanding more services from a tenant than the latter was legally bound for. The service demanded from a tenant must be just and due by the tenure. A landlord cannot seek more service from a tenant than which ancestors held.[1][2]
