Nazmul Huda

Nazmul Huda is a Bangladeshi lawyer and politician. He was as a member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party since its inception and in 2012, he left the party when he was serving as its vice chairman.[7] He served as the Minister of Communications of the Government of Bangladesh.[8]

Political career

Huda started his political career with "Jagodal", a party founded by former Bangladesh President Ziaur Rahman in 1977.[7] He became the founding member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).[7] He resigned from BNP as a vice chairman in June 2012.[9] Two months later he formed his own party Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF).[9] He was ousted by the party leader S.M. Abul Kalam Azad after a few months.[7] He formed Bangladesh National Alliance (BNA) in May 2014 and Bangladesh Manabadhikar Party (BMP) in November the same year.[7] In November 2015, he formed yet another new political party named "Trinomul BNP" (Grass-root BNP).[10][11]

Family

Huda is married to lawyer Sigma Huda.[13] Together they have two daughters Antora Salima Huda and Srabonti Ameena Huda.[14]
