Nazanin Mandi Pimentel (born September 11, 1986) is an American model, actress, and singer.

Career

At the age of 15, she made it to the top 35 on American Idol before being kicked off for not meeting the minimum age requirement of 16.[1] Her first appearance on reality television was on Shahs of Sunset.[1] In 2005, she appeared in and auditioned for the reality series R U The Girl, where she made it through to the top nine but was eliminated during the group performances stage. On July 25, 2019, she released her debut single, "Forever Mood," via Billboard. The track was produced by The Code and co-executive produced by Midian and her husband, Miguel.[2] In August 2019, Mandi was featured in BET's "Body of Work" segment where she spoke about breaking a diet pill habit and her journey towards healthy weight maintenance.[3]

Personal life

Mandi is from Valencia, Santa Clarita, California. She is of Persian, Spanish, Mexican, and Native American descent.[1] In January 2016, Mandi announced her engagement to singer Miguel after 10 years of dating.[4] They met at the age of 18. Mandi interviewed Miguel who was promoting his first music video.[5] They married on November 24, 2018 at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California.[5] Monique Lhuillier designed her wedding dress.[6]
