National Democratic Party (Bangladesh)

National Democratic Party is right wing political party in Bangladesh.[1][2] Khandaker Golam Mortuza is the chairman of the National Democratic Party.[3]

History

Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury led the National Democratic Party in the early 1990s and worked against the Bangladesh Awami League against the Bangladesh Nationalist Party government.[4]

The National Democratic Party joined the National Democratic Front, an alliance of 10 nationalist party, in September 2014.[5] The Party had quit the Bangladesh Nationalist Party led Grand Alliance in October 2014.[6] Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury was elected to Parliament on a National Democratic Party nomination from Chittagong-6 in 1991.[7]

National Democratic Party left the Bangladesh Nationalist Party led 20 party alliance in October 2018.[8][9]
