Nalneesh Neel

Nalneesh Neel (born 13 October 1984) is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. He is best known for his roles in Chhichhore, Gulabo Sitabo, Bhor, III Smoking Barrels[1] Fukrey Returns, Raees, [2][3] and Shuddh Desi Romance.

Early life

Neel was born in Bisalpur.[4] After completing his study he moved to Shahjahanpur where he started doing Theatre under the guidance of his mentor Dalip Anand.[4] He played characters in several plays.

Career

Neel has appeared in Raees, Fukrey Returns, Shuddh Desi Romance etc. He has a role in the upcoming film Bhor[5][3] and Chhichhore are two of his upcoming ventures.. He will appear in Gulabo Sitabo[6]

Neel has worked on short films including The Foreigner,[7] Acche Din[8] and Umeed[9]

Neel appeared in two advertising campaigns concerning the Indian economy: Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, 5rs ki maut,[10] The case video Must Go On[11] and the NGO advertisement No to Violence, Yes to Love.[12] and commercials including SAMCO[13] Kisan Pipe[14] and Cello Pen Maxtreme[15].

Neel regularly performs in the theater under his own production SRS Entertainment. He is currently performing in the short solo play Ek Haseena Paanch Diwane[16] based on Harishankar Parsai’s story.

Awards and nominations

Neel won Critic's Choice Best Actor (Male) for his role in Achchhe Din[8] at Acharya Tulsi Short Film Festival in Mumbai. The film was declared first runner-up at the Large Short Film category in Mami Film Festival in Mumbai.
