History

During the era of the Islamic Nabi (Prophet) Muhammad, a successful military operation was carried out here, known as the "Nakhla Raid".[2][3]:218 The Nakhla Raid was the seventh Caravan Raid, and the first successful raid against the Meccans. It took place in Rajab 2 A.H. (January 624 C.E.). The commander was 'Abdullah ibn Jahsh al-Asadi,[3]:218[4] whom Muhammad dispatched to Nakhlah as the head of 12 Emigrants with six camels.[5]:126, 129[6][7][lower-alpha 1]

gollark: It might be worth having the people interested in this make a "spin-off server" to test it, although that would probably have many of the same problems and also exciting new ones.
gollark: How about something to automatically turn off lasers if it detects someone screaming about their eyes burning?
gollark: Apparently there was one but it wasn't used much.
