History

Nue Agency was founded in 2008 by Jesse Kirshbaum[3][4] who still serves as the company’s CEO. Alex Kirshbaum (Jesse’s brother) also works for the company.

Nue has actted as an agent for Clipse,[5] Wale,[6][7] Mike Posner,[8] Chiddy Bang, White Panda,[9] Big Sean,[10] J. Cole,[11] Logic,[12] Capital Cities,[13] Action Bronson,[14] Odd Future,[15] Solange Knowles, Pusha T,[16] Hoodie Allen,[17] and Sound Remedy.

The Patch

Nue Agency is the lead agency[18] for The Patch,[19] and artists' housing program run with Sour Patch Kids. It provides free housing for touring artists in Brooklyn, NY, Austin, TX and Hollywood. Artists including Zella Day,[20] Conrad Sewell,[21] and Deer Tick (band)[22] have stayed at the houses.

In September 2015, Sour Patch Kids and Nue Agency won a Clio[23] Music award for their work in brand activation with The Patch.

CRWN

NUE produces CRWN, a live interview series hosted by Elliott Wilson. Guests have included Drake,[24] Macklemore,[25] Big Sean,[26] Lil Wayne,[27] R. Kelly,[28] Rick Ross,[29][30] Nicki Minaj,[31] J. Cole,[11] and T.I..[32]

SoundCTRL

Nue Agency operates SoundCtrl,[33] a publication that covers music and technology. Nue also created and is the executive producer for the FlashFWD[34] awards.
