Taxonomy
Murina recondita was described as a new species in 2009. The holotype had been collected in 2003 in Ruisui, Taiwan. Its species name "recondita" means "hidden" or "concealed", and was chosen in reference to the dull coloration of its fur.[2]
Description
It is a smaller member of its genus, with a forearm length of 28–31.5 mm (1.10–1.24 in).[2]
Range and habitat
Murina recondita is endemic to Taiwan, where it occurs in hilly and mountainous areas. It has been documented at a range of elevations from 40–2,200 m (130–7,220 ft) above sea level.[1]

gollark: Yes, the git CLI is quite uncool.
gollark: best SCM:```tar cvf "$(basename \"$(pwd)\")$(date +%Y-%m-%d-%H%M%S)".tar --exclude='*.tar' .```
gollark: It doesn't have issue-tracker/wiki/PR etc. functions built in so there are proprietary platforms for these, there is entirely too much state everywhere (I mean, you manage the stash, branches, tags, tracked files, whatever else), it uses a ton of files instead of a COOL™ SQLite3 database, and the CLI is inconsistent and overcomplicated.
gollark: I don't care, I just don't like its design.
