She was discovered by Jim of Psalmstre and now works as a model under CREWorks Asia.[2]

On 16 January 2018, it was confirmed that Orais will be competing at the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant where she finished in the Top 15 and Miss Philippine Airlines Award during the finals night on March 18.

She is one of the 3 representatives of Cebu City, together with Wynonah Van Joy Buot (as Binibini 26) and Eva Psychee Patalinjug (as Binibini 32).[9]

Media and environmental activism

Orais has been an advocate of low-carbon lifestyle.[1] In an interview with Top Gear Philippines in August 2011, she promoted the use of hybrid vehicles and made a statement that "hybrids are one solution to having cleaner air because their fossil-fuel consumption is cut down to almost half, and so is their emission level. And also, going back to the basics (walking and riding a bike) is one of the best ways to having a cleaner environment."[10]

In June 2011, Orais and her fellow winners of Miss Philippines Earth 2011 made a courtesy visit with the President of the Philippines Benigno Aquino III at the Malacañan Palace to show their support for the government’s intensified campaign to promote Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park.[11]

In February 2012, she joined the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation tree-planting activity along the River Park district of Marikina City as part of an outreach program and also hosted a lively learning session for grade school students of the Industrial Valley Elementary School and taught about the importance of saving money and also shared stories and tips on how to care for the environment.[12]

gollark: ?
gollark: As supreme world dictator I would A/B test things in different regions, so we could finally know things without making everyone experience a bad system.
