Career
Mucho Gusto's first race was on September 20, 2018, at Los Alamitos, where he came in first.[1] His next race was the Grade-3 2018 Bob Hope Stakes,[2] on November 17, 2018, where he also came in first. He finished his 2018 season off with a second-place finish at the Grade-1 Los Alamitos Futurity.
Mucho Gusto began his 2019 season with a win at the Grade-3 February 2, 2019 Robert B. Lewis Stakes.[3] On May 18, 2019, he picked up a win at the Grade-3 Lazaro Barrera Memorial Stakes.[4] He then picked up another win the month after by winning the 2019 Affirmed Stakes.[5] On July 20, 2019, he came in second place at the Haskell Invitational Stakes. On August 24, 2019, he came in third place at the Travers Stakes.[1] His final race of the season a fourth-place finish at the September 29th, 2019 Oklahoma Derby.[1]
He began his 2020 season with the biggest win of his career by winning his first Grade-1 race, the 2020 Pegasus World Cup.[6][7]
