Mosque Katip Sinan Qelebi
The Mosque Katip Sinan Qelebi, also known as "Katip Çelebi" (Turkish: Sinan Katip Camii),[1] is located on the Adem Jaschari Street in Prizren, Kosovo.[lower-alpha 1] Katip means "secretary" in Turkish. It may be named after Katip Çelebi[2] but it also may be named like the Plaošnik mosque in Ohrid,[3] which was named after Sinaneddin Yusuf Çelebi, short form Sinan Çelebi, from the Ohrizâde family.[4]
It was supposedly built in 1591.[5][6] It was repaired in 1893–94 based on an inscription.[7]
Notes
- Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia. The Republic of Kosovo unilaterally declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory. The two governments began to normalise relations in 2013, as part of the 2013 Brussels Agreement. Kosovo is currently recognized as an independent state by 97 out of the 193 United Nations member states. In total, 112 UN member states recognized Kosovo at some point, of which 15 later withdrew their recognition.

gollark: Also, you could... get that quite easily on STM32/ESP32/whatever boards?
gollark: i.e. they nominally are but you cannot actually get them for that much, especially in quantity.
gollark: It's probably "$4" like the Pi Zero is "$5".
