Mortal Shell is an action role-playing video game developed by Cold Symmetry and published by Playstack. It has been compared to the Souls series and released on 18 August 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows, through the Epic Games Store.[1]

Pre-release reviews have compared the game to playing Dark Souls for the first time. The story in the game is vague with few "narrative wisps that hint at the larger picture".[5] The gameplay is focused on "deliberate, brutal sword duels with a variety of spooky enemies".[6]
