Morissette is the debut studio album by Filipino singer Morissette Amon and was released in the Philippines on March 20, 2015 by Star Music.[1][2]

The album was launched on April 12, 2015 with a performance at Shangri-La Plaza.

Commercial performance

On June 11, 2017, Morissette was awarded Gold and Platinum certifications by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI), denoting 15,000 album-equivalent units, during Morissette's 21st birthday performance on ASAP.[3] The album has charted within iTunes Top 50 albums chart in the Philippines and Norway.[4] The singles "Akin Ka na Lang" and "Di Mapaliwanag" has charted within Singapore iTunes Top 100 songs and Philippines Spotify Weekly chart (at number 103), respectively,[5] while "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" peaked at number 95 on Philippines Spotify (Weekly) chart with total of 24,925,416 streams (or 19,940 album-equivalent units).[6][7]

Singles

"'Di Mapaliwanag" was the album's lead single and was released on iTunes on February 25, 2015. For promotion, a lyric video was uploaded in YouTube on February 27 of the same year. It became the official theme song of My Lovely Girl, A Korean drama series which aired on ABS-CBN in 2015. The music video, which is directed by Frank Lloyd Mamaril, was uploaded in the official YouTube channel of Star Music on June 14, 2015. Morissette Amon performed for the first time "'Di Mapaliwanag" with Jed Madela on ASAP (Variety Show).

"Throwback" with KZ Tandingan was the album's second single. The official lyric video was released on Starmusic's official YouTube channel on November 21, 2015.
