Monica Tata

Megha Tata (Hindi: मेघा टाटा) is an Indian salesperson with has over 24 years' experience. She has experience in management of television networks operations in the Media and Entertainment industry. She was earlier known as Monica Tata and has recently changed her name to Megha Tata[1]

Career

Megha Tata graduated from Narsee Monjee College of Mumbai in 1989. She appeared in an interview for a Dalmia Group company and was selected for the same.[2] She started working in sales with selling subscription for a video magazine called India View in 1991. Tata turned out to be the star salesperson and she was taken into ad sales for the same magazine. In her career she has worked with Sunday Mail, STAR India, Turner International India, Managing Director, South Asia for HBO India Pvt Ltd[3] and is currently working as the COO of BTVI.[4]

Awards and achievement

Megha Tata was identified as one of the top 50 influential women in media and marketing by a leading media magazine IMPACT in 2012 and 2014. She received Women Leadership award by World Women Leadership Congress in 2014. She is the Vice President of the International Advertising Association, India Chapter and a committee member for ASCI.[5]
