Mohammad Hussaini Shahroudi

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Shahroudi (Arabic: آيت الله العظمى سيد محمد حسينى شاهرودى) (December 1925[1] – 7 July 2019) was a senior Iraqi Twelver Shi'a Marja' in Iran.[2][3]

Not to be confused with Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi.

He studied in seminars of Najaf and Qom under Grand Ayatollah Hashem Amoli, Grand Ayatollah Syed Jamaluddin Golpaygani, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Mahmoud Hussaini Shahroudi and Grand Ayatollah Abdul Hussain Rashti.[4][5][6]

Death

Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Shahroudi died in Tehran, Iran at the age of 94.[7][8]
