Moazzam Ali Khan

Moazzam Ali Khan is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh since October 2019. He previously served as a member between August 2018 - August 2019.[1]

Political career

He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh as a candidate of Grand Democratic Alliance from Constituency PS-11 (Larkana-II) in 2018 Sindh provincial election.[2] On 22 August 2019, the Supreme Court of Pakistan disqualified him for failing to declare his assets following a petition filed by Pakistan Peoples Party’s Nida Khuhro.[3][4]

On 17 October 2019, in a by-election on PS-11 (Larkana-II) seat, Abbasi was re-elected bagging 31,557 votes, while his rival PPP's Jameel Ahmed Soomro secured 26,021 votes.[5][6]
