Mita Taupopoki
Mita Taupopoki (1845–1935) was a notable New Zealand tribal leader. Of Māori descent, he identified with the Ngāti Wahiao, Te Arawa and Tuhourangi iwi. He was born at Lake Rotorua, New Zealand in about 1845.[1]
